Social Networking For Coaches - Authentic Social Networking to Get Coaching Clients

Social Networking For Coaches - Authentic Social Networking to Get Coaching Clients
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Biana_Babinsky]Biana Babinsky

Do you need more clients for your coaching business? Would you like to start getting clients from social media web sites, such as Facebook and Twitter? Read this article to learn how to use social networking web sites such as Facebook and Twitter to market your coaching business, authentically and effectively.

Many coaches have been asking me whether they should be using social networking web sites to get coaching clients! The answer is yes. People in your target market are using social networking web sites right now, and you should start using them too, so that you can connect with them and let them know about your business! Here is how you can do that:

1. Use Social Media Web Sites To Meet Your Potential Coaching Clients

Social networking for coaches starts with meeting people. Before you can start building relationships with people, before you can start letting them know about your expertise, the first step that you must take on social networking web sites is a very simple one - you must meet your target market there!

Search for your target market and connect with them and network.

2. Share Your Authentic Message

Now that you are connected with your target market, start sharing your authentic message with them. Share tips, ideas, blog posts and information that is relevant to the people in your target market. They will love to learn from you, and, in the process they will see you as the expert that you are.

Social media web sites are a great place for sharing your authentic message, because you can meet your target market there and you have different means for sharing your message, including sharing your updates, sharing tips, sharing your blog posts, sharing your events and more.

3. Invite Your Target Market To Continue Learning From You

Since your target market likes to learn from you, you need to invite them to continue to do so. The best way to do that is by inviting them to join your newsletter, so that you can continue building relationships with them and sharing your message with them.

The best way to do that is by sharing a free gift that you offer to your newsletter subscribers and inviting your connections to get the free gift and subscribe.

Top Ten Ways to Market Your Network Marketing Business Online

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Annalaura_Brown]Annalaura Brown

Are you trying to market your network marketing business online? Or would you like to do it but you don't know what the best ways are? I have been doing it for three years and have tried everything. Here are the top ten ways I have found to be successful in marketing your network marketing business online.

Write Articles- writing articles not only increases your links and search engine visibility but also establishes you as an expert. You want to make sure to write articles and submit them to directories but also to newsletters, and to specific websites. Find websites which focus on your target market and write articles specifically for these websites.

Blog- start your own blog and write a new post at least once a week. Make your posts interesting and useful to your readers. Write guest posts for other blogs as well to increase your expertise and linkage. Invite your readers to comment on your blog and take to heart what they say. Include video on your blog. Comment on other blogs with interesting and relevant comments and include a link back to your blog.

Social Networking- choose one social networking site to begin with and set a goal to meet and connect with as many people as possible. Focus on building relationships and on offering value to others. Avoid spamming and trying to make a sale. Social networking does not offer an immediate payback but the long-term results are well worth it.

Squidoo- This website offers a combination of blogging and social networking and is great for link building. Create a few business oriented lenses and a few lenses based on your hobbies, famous people or other interesting topics. Keep them updated and promote them on your blog and other websites. You will be amazed how much traffic you will get from Squidoo.

Free Ecourse- offer people the chance to opt-in to receive a series of free emails all about a related topic. It can be business oriented or not. Include some business promotion in your emails without being too pushy or sales oriented.

Forums and Message Boards- Visit two or three of these regularly and offer value and start interesting conversations. Build relationships with the regular visitors and include a catchy signature file at the end of all of your posts. Focus on the knowledge that you can share with others.

Niche marketing- choose two or three specific niches within the larger category of network marketing and focus on marketing and building relationships with these people. Create one or more websites targeting these people. Offer value to them on these websites and have a specific plan on how you will reach them as well as what you will offer to them once you have made contact.

Online Parties- these can be great for making sales and additional contacts. You can reserve a room for a short period time for an inexpensive fee and you never know who will show up. It is also important to promote the party yourself for maximum success.

Branding you- make the focus of all of your internet marketing you and not your company and products. Everyone has the same products and the same company but there is only one you. Why are you unique? Find your unique talents that you can use and offer to others and emphasize on those.

Contests and Drawings- everyone loves free and you can create quite the buzz by offering a free contest or drawing. Know ahead of time exactly what the rules will be and stick to them. Make sure to choose a winner and to publicize the winner. Follow up with the rest of the entrants and offer them your products and opportunity.

Professional Networking 101 - Discover How to Achieve Success Through Online Networking

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Maurice_Evans]Maurice Evans

If you are a business professional or an entrepreneur, the concept of using networking and relationships to expand & flourish your career is not a new concept for you. We are social creatures by nature; interdependency is the basis of the sophistication of our civilization. This interdependency in business has a simple name, "networking". It's hard to deny the fact that by networking with your existing business relationships, you can make just about any task simpler with just a call or email to your contacts.

And now, this same concept of networking or building contacts in the real world has been transformed into the virtual world of the World Wide Web. With online networking, people join hands together on a common platform to build public and private networks.

The purposes of these networks determine the kind of people that flock together building a particular network group. These networks extend beyond the physical boundaries of a building, city, state or country. The World Wide Web enables people to join hands globally for common goals.

There is, of course, networking for pure fun and socializing, such as the websites that connect people for dating opportunities. However, more and more, networking websites specifically geared for professional and business purposes are rapidly evolving. Until recently though, it would not be wrong to say that the benefits of many of these professional and business networks online are underutilized.

In the business arena, there are three main types of professional and business networks - traditional networking; structured networking clubs and online or e-networking.

Traditional Networking as the name suggests is what every one is familiar with. That simply means meeting and greeting people. Having good relations in the industry you are in. Joining associations and visiting events pertaining to your line of business to have better contacts. Whether just in your office building or throughout your entire city, this approach can expand your business circle with potential business clients. There are also organizations that help facilitate traditional networking. Typical examples of such associations would be the Rotary International Chapter and your local Chamber of Commerce.

Structured Networking Clubs are available that expect a lot of time commitment from you but are worth it. These clubs are a great help when it comes to starting with a new job or trying to get new business, but generally work for all professionals. Many structured networking clubs are designed to provide leads for its members. Many times this is mandated to such an extent, it is required to pass along leads to other members in order for one to remain a member in good standing. Many structured groups like Business Networking International (BNI), will only allow one person per profession/industry in each "chapter" or subgroup. Try searching Google for: "Networking Groups (city)" and replace (city) with your city or region.

Chambers, Rotary's and structured groups usually require some sort of application and annual or monthly fee. They also have a tendency to maintain small groups of 10-50 people in each meeting.

Nowadays, the most popular networking facilitators are the internet based networking websites that offer professional and business connections. These professional and business networking sites offer excellent opportunities to expand and flourish businesses. These are an amazing common platform wherein the people of various specialties and backgrounds join in for mutual business benefits.

Even if you are an entrepreneur, these sites are very helpful to build relationships and gain exposure for your business. These sites have grown to be much more than contact-sharing sites. People have started to use them for job and employee hunting as well. A few of the sites have jumped to the cutting edge and provide resources and training to help professionals improve their skill set and facilitate personal and professional growth.

When you join such a website you are able to become part of more than one group, thus serving a variety of needs and interests. The idea of e-networking is that you have a platform wherein you are exposed to and made visible to a greater number of people. This increased exposure helps you get in touch with the very people who could prove to be the help you need in getting your job done more efficiently and affordably. Add this on top of the fact others will find you via the personal profiles these networking sites list in their directories in combination with other marketing efforts they perform on your behalf.

E-Networking sites greatest and most popular draw of course, is they are usually free tools to use and accessible from anywhere in world where there is an internet connection. Site benefits range from vastness of members like Linked In whose members number in the millions; to smaller startup sites like Networking City that compensate for quantity by adding to the social portion free professional trainings plus additional marketing tools like your own personal blog.

A major key to success when joining any group, whether online or offline is your continued participation and a willingness to give before you expect to receive. This is the only way to truly benefit from your experiences with your contacts, online or otherwise.

Networkers Club Blog Article Intro for Tania Mesar:

In the following article Tania Mesar does a great job of
showing how online networkers, multi-level-marketers, and
social networkers can create synergy. Attraction marketing
is huge now on the net. Networking of all types and
stripes is a business necessity. Social networkers all
across the world wide web are advancing their business
interests by constantly improving as networkers. Tania's
article doesn't mention the brand new (as of March 2009)
Networkers Club,
but that club is a super example of an entity created to
capitalize on the limitless possibilities of business on
the internet.

Social Networking For MLM - Web 2.0 Techniques to Apply to Your Business Right Away

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tania_Mesar]Tania Mesar

These days, MLM and social networking must go hand in hand. The entire landscape of MLM business has changed--thanks to the Internet. There is now so much information out there that people can spread and access so fast that it's overwhelming. If you try to do MLM in the traditional way you're doomed to failure. The only way you're going to make it as a multi-level marketer today is to harness the power and outreach of the Internet, and to do that you must take advantage of one of the greatest Web 2.0 tools at your disposal: social networking.

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS AND YOU BUILD YOUR BUSINESS

People want to do business with those with whom they have a relationship. For the most part, we establish relationships with those whom we desire to get to know better. They intrigue us or attract us for one reason or another. The old days of prospecting are dead and gone because of the Internet. Rumors fly too fast, new information is too accessible, constant new opportunities lead to too many conflicts of interest.

Of course, the true core concept of successful prospecting and selling remains the same--but now it has so much more power and prestige. Forget about cold calling and network. Build relationships. But the thing of it is, nowadays once you've established connections with your affiliates, the loyalty that once was there is no longer there as it once was. For you see, with the Internet, there is so much information to access--never mind whether it's good or bad, true or not so true---that people are constantly being led away to seek more gold elsewhere. It is now harder to build the loyalty that keeps your business together.

Any MLM business thrives on relationships and loyalty. You need to find the way to prevent people from constantly leaving you, just like you need to put no stock in cold calling potential customers. Social networking is the answer to this.

FRIENDS DON'T BETRAY OR ABANDON FRIENDS

Social networking within the context of MLM is all about making friends. That's fun, isn't it? When you've got a friend, they are much more willing to listen to what you have to say. If they become part of your business, they are less likely to just drop you in a few months to chase that which touts itself as the latest and greatest.

MLM thrives on loyalty and staying power. You're just earning residuals from your downline of distributors. When it comes to most of them, if they feel like they have just been invited to join some other, hotter enterprise--they won't stay with you. Especially not if one of your upper tier leaders decides to leave--s/he'll take most everyone along.

When you correctly use the might of social networking tools like Facebook, Stumble Upon, and Twitter, among several others, you create friends. These friends are those who will turn into loyal customers, and some of them will turn into loyal affiliates. They have a friendship and common interests with you. They won't just chase off after the next big, hollow thing.

Social networking is Web 2.0 at its finest. Use it or lose it (that second "it" being your business). Do not forget to check out the link in the resource box below, you'll find a great interview that details the 7 fatal mistakes of a network marketer so you know what to avoid.

Networkers Club Blog Article Intro for Simon Fusco:

The title of the following article stretches the definition
of friendship, however, the article makes some remarkable points.
Online networking is big and it is growing fast. Successful
internet marketing and network marketing require a constant
infusion of targeted leads, sometimes referred to as prospects.
Online social networking, if done authentically, as Simon Fusco
recommends, can help greatly to grow a business. The new networkers club
is growing fast and meets or exceeds all requirements for
building businesses online.

Earn Using Social Networking - Friendships Can Make Money

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Simon_Fusco]Simon Fusco

Many businesses are learning that they can earn using social networking. They are learning that they can form profitable friendships and remain within the rules of the many social networking sites on the web. This has literally opened up a new revolution in internet marketing. No more do people have to rely on just buying ads, developing email lists, and embarking upon the many other internet marketing techniques. Social networking provides an entire network of leads in a short period of time.

Here is how you can make these online friendships profitable for your business:

· Make sure you talk to them. Don't just add them and then let them be. They are people and they need attention from your company. It takes an individual an average of 26 times to see something before it burns itself into their brains. Make sure you leave comments, thank them for being a friend, and make sure you interact with them in all ways possible.

· Stay up on birthdays and other happenings. If someone is having a birthday, wish them a happy birthday. Those wishing to earn using social networking will find that this makes a difference. If someone announces in a bulletin that they're expecting, then a congratulations is in order.

· Let them interact with your blogs. You may even want to include some interactive elements on your page. Many social networking sites are now implementing apps in order to make pages a lot more fun and interesting. Add applications that they can interact with.

· Make sure you write blogs that are of interest of them. You can throw something in about your business, but make sure you hit on some special interest topics. Those who earn using social networking are notorious for this. So just make sure you remember that they're more than just dollar signs. You have to appeal to them on an emotional level in order for them to do business with you.

They are exposed to a lot on social networking sites. If you really want to earn using social networking, then it is important that you do all of these things. You'll notice an incredible difference in the amount of traffic coming to your website and you'll even notice a difference in your profit. Even when you start bringing in more sales, keep up the good work. You'll just bring in more and more and even make more friends.

Networkers Yearn to Make Money Online

Networkers Yearn to Make Money Online
James Colt, The Networkers Club Blog

One thing is crystal clear, making money online requires ongoing effort.
The internet is changing daily. The internet networker must keep up
with trends and then adapt.

One trend that seems to be never ending and even increasing,
is scamming. Trust has become difficult to obtain online largely
due to scums with scams.

If you want to go legit, then first get rid of get rich quick thoughts.
Intending to get rich quick makes you a scam magnet.

Authentic networking is a concept to get your head around and to
apply. Offer real value yourself and look for those who are doing
the same. Then, link up - that's the essence of networking. This
is what the networkers club aims to facilitate - but it remains to be
seen if it will actually live up to its promises.

This leads me to my final point - but first, a question - what
can each of us do to foster real networking and become authentic
networkers? Answering this question and acting on your answer
is what, in large part, will determine your level of attractiveness.
Attracting loyal and trustworthy business partners and business
leads should be foremost in our minds.

Make Money With Social Networking

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Larry_Rivera]Larry Rivera

Social networking may have been invented to help long-lost friends get in touch but nowadays, it's fast becoming a popular tool for online marketing. Jump in and join the bandwagon by making money with social sites, too.

Step 1 Sign up with the right social website.

Not all social websites will be helpful to your business. For you to make money with social networking, you first need to find a website whose target market matches that of your business. If you are after baby boomers, something as hip as Bebo may not be the ideal social website for your business. You probably want something more staid or exclusive like Orkut.

Be aware, however, that finding the perfect match for your business is not akin to finding a soul mate. There could be more than one social website that matches your business needs and if so, you should sign up for each and every one of them. It's free anyway!

Step 2 Create a profile page.

Profile pages introduce you - or in this case your business - to other people. They always come with photos and you have the chance of cementing your business's trustworthiness if you submit your own photo or at least the logo of your business.

Profile pages also come with a lot of free space so that you can tell people more about you and the business. Focus on making the details brief but precise, witty but informative, and last but not the least, all the information you give must be designed to encourage consumers to favor your business. But if the first thing they do is to add your account instead of buying a product out right, well, that's good, too!

Layouts for profile pages can usually be modified. If you're not familiar with HTML, CSS, and the likes, you can usually download design templates from other websites and apply it to your social networking account. The layouts you choose must fit the type of business you own. They must also be visually appealing to your customers but user-friendly at the same time, with highly visible links so that visitors would never get lost in your website.

Step 3 Send a message to everyone.

There are three possible ways for you to get in touch with everyone in social networking websites. If you have an announcement to make, you can send a message to everyone in your network. You can also post a message on the bulletin board or participate in the forums created by social networking communities.

Objectives for your message include introducing your business to the public, emphasize the benefits they can enjoy when they purchase a product or service from your business, and lastly, encourage them to know more about your business by visiting your personal page.

Step 4 Circulate.

The more you mingle, the more exposure you gain for your business. Post a comment, rate photos or other kinds of content uploaded by other members, and try adding a new member now and then to your network.

Step 5 Evaluate feedback.

See which strategies you've employed helped you to make money from social networking and which ones that failed abysmally.

Step 6 Repeat steps 1 to 5 with a new social website.

There are a lot of them online and if you can join all these websites, your business can only benefit from it!

How to Meet Home Business Partners Through Social Networking and Discussion Forums

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Truby_Johnson]Truby Johnson

The lifeblood of many home business opportunities is fresh leads. Whether you are in network marketing, Internet marketing, or 2 tier affiliate marketing, you need to be in constant contact with new prospects if you expect your business to grow.

The Internet is an excellent place to meet people that could become potential business partners. In this article we will talk about two of these places and how to properly utilize these resources to grow your home business.

1. Social networking is extremely big and has actually spawned a new term known as social media. Social media can be anything that allows you to communicate with your prospects. Examples of this include audio, video, podcasting, webinars, blogging, and much more.

Another direct way to use social networking to your advantage is to hang out in various directories or social networks themselves. You are probably familiar with Facebook, and My Space. You may not be familiar with eEntrepreneur.com which is another excellent place to meet potential home business partners.

Some of the most popular social directories today that you can get traffic and potential leads from include the Digg, Propeller, Stumbleupon, Twitter, and literally thousands more.

2. Another excellent place to meet people is to hang out in discussion forums. There are literally discussion forums for every type of topic imaginable. Big-Boards.com is the world's largest resource for finding discussion forums to meet people at.

The proper way to use a discussion forum is to make a post and participate in the discussion. Most discussion forums will let you create a signature file where you can write a short classified ad about yourself and your product.

The way to meet people and potential home business partners in a discussion forum is not to advertise your business in any of the posts themselves. The proper ways to improve your credibility is by being helpful, and then driving traffic to your website by way of your signature file.

It is a proven fact that literally millions of dollars have been transacted through joint ventures made in discussion forums. This is a great place to meet home business partners for your business, because people that are in discussion forums are already used to using the Internet and may have a need to make more money.

In closing this is two places to meet home business partners. There are many other ways to make contacts on the Internet, but social networking and discussion forums continue to be excellent business builders.

Business Networking - Top 10 Characteristics All Master Networkers Must Have

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Chris_Le_Roy]Chris Le Roy

Networking is one of the most important skills you must learn in business. More money is made from your networks than any other marketing medium. To build your network you must learn key networking skills and become a Master Networker. Every Master Networker has ten key characteristics, if you do not have these ten key characteristics then you must adopt them immediately and live your life by them.

1. Always Be Positive Even In A Bad Situation

Regardless of how you feel, or the situation you are in you must always be positive. One of the sad things about this world is that nobody cares if you are down. Unfortunately it is a fact of life, so it is important that when you are networking you are at all times positive. Even if someone is stealing from you, you still must remain positive.

2. Always Be Sincere

The world seems to be made up of very rude people and it only seems to be getting worse, as more people adopt the rude characteristic. Being rude will never win you friends and will only alienate those around you. The Master Networker always has a key characteristic to always be sincere even in a difficult situation.

3. Be Prepared To Help Others

Always be prepared to help others regardless of who they are. If you remember that there are only 6 degrees of separation between each of us, you must be prepared to help others because you just never know who they know or you may be helping someone who will help you in the future.

4. Always Be Networking

Whenever you leave home, your mind should always be focused on networking. You just never know when a new opportunity might arise; it could be in the supermarket buying the weekly groceries or some one you sit next to on the plane on your way to your business meeting.

The Master Networker is always trying to build his own network and expand his Mastermind Group.

5. Work Your Network

In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill talks about building a Mastermind Group of Advisers. You network is apart of your Mastermind Group that will help you build the success you desire. Working your network involves, asking for referrals from your network, advice and also asking them to share their experiences.

6. Always Follow-up On Your Referrals

If someone suggests that you give someone a call or they give you an introduction ensure that you follow-up on your referrals. If someone has given you a referral, then they are handing you an opportunity and they are also putting their reputation on the line by giving you the referral. If you do not follow-up on that referral you may find that you lose out in the future.

7. Be Enthusiastic About Life

Business is a tough world and many people are easily downed by the pressures that it brings. One of the secrets of Master Networkers is that they are enthusiastic about life and further to that they love the challenges and excitement that business brings. Love life to the fullest and everyday you get up, find a reason to keep going on.

Think and Grow Rich teaches us that we must have a clear desire on what we want in life to succeed. At the very least, you should be enthusiastic every single day to be going after your desire and the fact that you are one step closer to achieving it.

8. Always Keep Your Word

One of the great sayings I have heard many business leaders, including Donald Trump say is, "It is not personal, it is just business". Many people believe that that saying gives you the right to do anything that you want to another person all in the name of business. This is further from the truth. If you say you are going to do something then you must keep your word. Some of the great deals on this planet are done without contracts because the people doing the deals are known to keep their word.

9. Be 100% Trustworthy

Trust is an important characteristic of a Master Networker. If your network cannot trust you then they are not going to introduce you to quality referrals or to allow you to join their Mastermind Group.

10. Always Thank People

The sweetest thing to hear is a Thank you from a grateful person and in business today it is one of the things you very rarely hear people say. Thanking people can come in a number of forms, from a simple verbal thank you to sending a simple note to thank the person. For example if you meet some one at a Local Chamber of Commerce Meeting, then as a Master Networker it is important that you send a note to thank them for their time at the meeting

Networking is a major skill you must master if you want to achieve the ultimate success that Napoleon Hill talks about in his book Think and Grow Rich. The characteristics outlined in this article are mandatory for you to learn and live your life by. You cannot only adopt 1 or 2 of the characteristics to be successful, you must adopt immediately all ten characteristics.

To finish off, I want to take a moment to list the Top 10 Characteristics all Master Networkers must have:

1. Always Be Positive Even In A Bad Situation

2. Always Be Sincere

3. Be Prepared To Help Others

4. Always Be Networking

5. Work Your Network

6. Always Follow-up On Your Referrals

7. Be Enthusiastic About Life

8. Always Keep Your Word

9. Be 100% Trustworthy

10. Always Thank People

The Internet beckons. You know you could be using it to promote your business, find new customers and build a longer, more loyal relationship with your ongoing customers. But how to do that without breaking the bank?
Simple answer: the Internet.
The Internet provides a multitude of tools to market your business. Out of all of those tools, new ones popping up every day, it can be difficult to choose which to use to promote your business. So, here's a top ten, all inexpensive and all effective, especially when integrated and pursued simultaneously.

Have a Website.

This is a no-brainer, but it's still a first step. A company website is important for any business. It's a 24/7 advertisement for your company. It's where you tell your company's story. A website is the cheapest method any business owner can spend to market the company story. In fact, in today's marketplace, anyone who says they don't need a company website is delusional. However, according to the Small Business Administration, only 30 percent of companies in the U.S. have a website. They're missing a great marketing opportunity.

Have a blog.

Blogs can do a great deal to help your company. They can become direct communication links for key company members to speak to clients and customers. They can provide a forum for more edgy material than can the company's official website. Also, they can "humanize" your executives for your customers, a factor that can help build customer loyalty. In addition, they can improve your SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Social Networking.

The number of social networks on the Internet at the present moment is just daunting. However, there are some clear leaders that are suitable for business owners, as well as good places to promote your business and your customer-facing persona. These are LinkedIn and FaceBook. Sign in as an individual to see how they work; then, add your business and begin virtual networking.

Join Forums.

Internet discussion forums provide a professional, often cross-sector, setting for online discussions. Most forum sites will allow you in, let you add a profile about you and your business, and allow a link back to your company's website. The link can help boost your SEO; joining in the discussion is a form of virtual networking. Use this much as you would if you attended an association lunch and were "working the room".

Make an Online Video.

Who doesn't love a movie! Companies are creating videos to add to their Websites, their blogs, and to use when online networking. Videos add a welcome multi-media dimension to almost any business. You'll find many on YouTube, too, and popularity there can be a real boon to a business. Videos are much easier and less expensive to produce than you'd think: if you have a Mac, you already have some quality and easy-to-use video editor software on your computer. If you use a PC, Adobe Premiere Elements 7 is an inexpensive but powerful application. You can also hire a professional. Just make sure your video is either interesting or funny.

Do a Podcast.

What about a doing a podcast? They are inexpensive marketing tools, and if you are an expert in your field, they can provide you with a powerful tool for promoting your company. Use them on your Website and around the Internet as you would a video. (An example of how powerful podcasting can be is shown by what Andrew Horowitz has achieved with his podcast, The Disciplined Investor.)

Post on Popular Blogs.

Blogging is intended to be a two-way conversation. If you decide on a blog for your company, make sure you enter the blogging community full-speed. Go to other blogs and post comments. Become a presence and a leader in your market segment. Most blogs also allow links back to your site; use these to help improve your website's SEO.

Twitter.

"Tweeting" has quickly become a powerful online communication tool. Businesses are using Twitter to heighten awareness of their brands and to drive traffic to their sites. Twitter is still new and developing. It's a shorthand style of blogging. To understand it, you must try it. As with blogging, to make it work for you, you need to enter the conversation with others online.

Email Newsletter.

Permission marketing has been a big tool in a business toolbox for some time. Since it works off your database of customers (and you continue to build this as you send your e-blasts), permission marketing is very effective on a local basis as well as on a broader one. Use email newsletters to keep your loyal customers in touch with your products, as well as to add new customers with integrated opt-in functionality off your website.

Hire it out.

As with all marketing and advertising, Internet promotions require an investment. Many companies are simply shifting marketing dollars from traditional print streams and investing in the Internet instead. They're finding that Internet marketing is time-consuming, sometimes technical, and requires great communication skills. It can steal time away from your core business, and if that's how it seems to you, consider hiring a professional web-design and marketing firm. But if you have the time, by all means, leap into the Internet marketing arena yourself.

You can't ignore the Internet as a marketing tool anymore. And why would you? That's where your customers go to find products and services; that's where you need your brand to show up.

Sorting Through the Good, the Bad, and the MLM Ugly

Sorting Through the Good, the Bad, and the MLM Ugly
by: Andre Best
http://www.articlecity.com/articles/online_business/article_2667

You know, if there's a surefire killer of a beginning networker, it's the old deal where the new networker wastes so much time finding the right folks to sponsor.

As you are well aware, the key to building yourself that lucrative residual income is not only to get yourself those required retail customers but also to get yourself that downline group of folks. And it all starts with your sponsoring efforts. It's your biz after all.

So lets quickly cover what most, and I mean the vast majority, of new networkers do when they're first sponsored...

It really can be summed up in a few words...

They spend too much time talking with the wrong folks and not enough time talking with the right ones. Or not talking to the right ones at all.

Simply put, most networkers find someone to approach about their new business. It doesn't matter how that person is approached.

Be it through the 3-foot rule, postcards, phone calls, the phone book, advertisements, approaching someone on the street. Whatever.

The key here is that beginning networkers find someone in their sights and they fall into the trap of not letting that person go regardless of whether they are probably a complete waste of their prospecting time and money.

Why does this happen? Good question.

Well, it happens because that is an integral part of human nature. We don't want to let up on a possibility until we absolutely know that that possibility just isn't going to give us what we want. In THIS case a good person to sponsor.

Regardless, even for some of us, even though we know this person isn't the right person to sponsor, we still won't let go. There's something about going through an experience as sometimes hard as networking, and doing it in numbers makes it easier.

Let's look at it from a real-life perspective...

We find ourselves talking with someone on the phone. We just met this person since they're from our cold-market. This person sounds like a good person to send a big package of info to, but we just aren't quite sure. We don't know if we should thank them for their time and hang up the phone, or if we should indeed send them that big package, at our expense, and see what comes of it.

If you've been networking for a while, even as a beginner, you've probably been here. And if you haven't, read closely.

So what do we do?

We decide to send out that big package that in the end cost us around eight green ones.

We're thinking... "I don't know, she just sounded so good and she seemed to say some of the right stuff and oh well, what the heck...it's only eight dollars."

And what happens a week later as we're still trying to get a hold of that person after our fourth phone call to them and our three previous voicemails haven't been answered?

The answer?...Nothing.

That person flaked on us.

And what do we do?

We scratch our head and tell ourselves that we don't know what happened.

"That person was not a good prospect, but they looked sooo good, I just don't get it."

We continue to wonder and then just chalk another one up to experience. We're eight bucks lighter, a little disturbed about all that happened, and then we just ever so slightly beat ourselves up for not knowing that that person would flake on us like that. We should 'know better' we tell ourselves..

Next time we 'won't let them do that to us'.

And what happens next time?...

The same thing all over again.

Now let's get into the meat of this insight.

~~~~
Why is this happening?
Well, there are several reasons. And yes, unfortunately, you're one of them.
Now don't zone out on me yet. NO reprimands or brow-beating here. This is a family-friendly insight. :-)
YOU'RE the reason only so far as you are a beginner in this whole game and you haven't yet discovered this weird fact of human nature.
What fact? How should I put it so as not to insult folks who fit under this category. Hmmmm...
Oh well, I'm brutally honest at times so here goes...
People are flakes.
Not you, just those other folks. :-)
People will lie to no end to put a stop to something that they don't feel comfortable being an active participant in.
Be it a relationship.
A J.O.B .
A date with someone.
A sales pitch.
You name it.
People don't do that to be mean. They just do it to end their pain with the situation. It's not about YOU. It's about them and their uncomfortable-ness inside themselves.
Remember that.
But the aspect that IS about you is that fortunately you can learn some new behaviors with and this will foster a new growth in your business. And at the same time keep those hard-earned bucks of yours where they belong. In YOUR pocket. Or purse.
I'll explain.
You see, basically there are three types of so-called prospects that you'll come across in your sponsoring efforts. And during your prospecting.
~~~~

There are those folks who are asleep. What are they asleep to? Simply put...life.

They're dead inside. They're walking zombies. The blood is coursing and the skin is warm but nobody's home. These are people who wouldn't know a good opportunity no matter how nice it sounded.

Why? They're not interested.

In fact, they don't even know that they're not interested. They don't have any thoughts in their lives about doing a home business. They don't have any thoughts whatsoever about doing MLM. There's just nothing there. They're asleep.

They're dreaming of riches yet oblivious to what can really get them there. These are the folks who scream at you to "get me off that damn list."

Or they say something along the lines of...

"I don't remember responding to that."

"I've heard of MLM. Isn't it one of those pyramid thingies? Doesn't everybody loose money but the one on the top?"

"Yeah sure, that sounds okay but I have to go because the news is on the television."

"Nah, I don't care if you're giving away money. I'm not interested."

"Sure, send me some info and I'll get back to you."

"Do I have to spend money? I don't want to spend too much."

"How much will it cost? I only have a few bucks to spare this week."

"Why do I need more money? I have enough. The rent is overdue, but I'll get it somehow. The kids can skip eating for a couple of days right?"

THESE are the folks who are asleep in life.

Stay away from them. The minute you smell them or sense their presence or hear their snoring...move on. Quickly.

They'll waste your money, your time and your life. Apologize to them for waking them up and continue with your prospecting efforts.

~~~~
Okay, the next type of prospect you'll come across....
This type of prospect is just waking up. They're kind of between the space in life where they're not quite asleep and yet they're not quite awake to the world.
They're still rubbing sleep out of their eyes. They're yawning, and trying to orient themselves to what's happening around them. They may be somewhat confused but they're letting their minds wake up to the world around them.
Are they alert and fully with it and raring to go? NO.
Are they willing? Perhaps, but it's hard to tell.
You can't really tell who they really are when they're awake because they aren't there yet. They're still trying to figure out what they should be doing and where they should be going with their life that day.
Think about it. Isn't that the way you are when you first wake up? I'm talking about those first few seconds on that day when you jolt yourself awake and have to ask yourself what day it is and should you be heading off to work or sleeping in again.
We've all been there. It's a very confusing state to be in. Not quite asleep and not quite awake.
So, who are these folks who are in limbo-land? Or should I say la-la-land.
Let's hear what they say and do.
"Send me the info and I'll think about it for a while. Call me in a week." You call back and they haven't watched the video yet. This goes on for several weeks to no avail.
"I haven't gotten the time to listen to that tape yet. I've just been so busy you know. This week was especially hellish. Call me again in a few days."
"You called me last week? I don't remember you, can you tell me what this is all about again?"
"I DID sign up with the company, but they're telling you I didn't? Hmmm, that's strange..."
"I've been thinking about a home biz, but I'm just not quite sure if this is what I want to be doing."
"I did MLM before and it didn't work. Why should I try it again?"
"I got my desk straightened out this week and I'm getting ready to get started."
"Can you call me back at a better time? Perhaps in six months because I'm right in the middle of this other deal that might pan out for me."
"I really like the way the products sound but I'm just not sure if I should be doing this just yet. I don't know..."
Are you beginning to see the types of things the prospect who is just waking up sounds like and does? They're on the fence and don't know which side they want to step down to. They can't figure out exactly what it is they should be doing for themselves right now. They're still getting ready to get ready.
Are they potentially bad prospects? No.
Will they do something someday? Maybe.
But unlikely.
But let me ask you, do you have the time with your limited eight to ten hours a week to work your biz to find out if they have what it takes to be a superstar? Or even maybe become a retail customer of yours? Most of us don't.
But this is where most networkers get stuck. They stay with these folks and hang onto them for dear life. Because, "hey, who knows they just might turn into that next diamond I need to qualify for the next level in the comp. plan."
Right? Hard to let go of them. There is that whole bit about hope after all.
And so then what do most networkers end up doing with these folks?
They chat.
They discuss stuff every week.
They become friends.
They learn about each others family, lives, jobs, and such.
But no one is working their biz and sponsoring folks and retailing products.
Lots of friend-shipping stuff going on here. But that isn't why you joined MLM is it? You joined to make money, didn't you?
Most people agree.
So, let's move on to the last type of prospect you'll come across.
~~~~

This type of person is one who is fully awake to life and the world surrounding them. They're out of the slumber zone and they're moving through life. Sleep is nothing but something that needs to be done in their lives. They're out there ready to greet the day and raring to go.

Get out of their way 'cause they have a mission in life.

They're truly full of life. They know where they're going and honestly nothing's going to stop them. They'll figure out how to get what they want in life. They work hard on themselves. And they work hard at what they set their minds to. They aren't afraid to try new things and take risks. They believe in themselves and take necessary risks. Fear is only a feeling to them. It's not real and it doesn't stop them on their journey through their wakeful state in life.

These people are about as far from sleep as you can get and they've long ago wiped the sleep from their eyes.

They're awake and going for it.

You can't say the wrong thing to these folks. And these are the folks you NEED in your biz.

What do these people say and do?

"Sure I can do that. Just tell me what to do and I'll do it."

"I've already placed an order for the products even before I first talked to you."

"I wanted to see how they worked with me so I just had to get on them."

"This sounds awesome to me. I'm in."

"What do I do next?"

"Can you tell me more about what this is about? Sounds very interesting."

They call YOU.

They reach out to YOU.

They're energetic. Alive. Full of spirit and foresight.

They sponsor folks in your business.

They've sponsored folks in past businesses and for whatever reason are looking to start fresh again.

They're coachable and willing to learn.

They just do it. All that it takes.

They're non-competitive but instead results-oriented.

They have an attitude of personal success in life - almost an aloofness about their actions.

They care about others, but won't let other people's limitations and hesitancies stop them from getting what it is they're after.

~~~~
Okay, now we know all about the three types of folks you could possibly run into during your prospecting efforts. Lets summarize the ones you should be focusing ALL of your time on.
Obviously, the people that are asleep are better left just that way. Asleep.
Don't waste your time on them. Sound callous? Maybe. But you're in biz, remember? You want that elusive residual income don't you?
Well then, don't waste your time on these business deadweights. Leave them alone to continue sleeping.
As for the one's that are waking up....
They too should be mostly left alone. Don't ignore them or write them off right away. Feel them out. See what they do. See if their actions match their words. See if they're everything that they say they are.
See if they get into action. If they don't, put them out to pasture. Don't be mean. Don't write them off forever. Just put them on your 'call in six months' list. If they're still in that same slumber state then, than DO tear up that contact card. Let these people sit on that fence. You go build your business to success and lead by example.
If they ever wake up then they can call you. In the meantime you'll be building your business. You won't be waiting for them but you'll be available WHEN they're ready to start and ready to follow through.
Finally, we're left with the only group of folks that you SHOULD be spending your time with....
The ones who are awake to you, your opportunity, and what you have to offer with your products and your biz.
Get to know them. Find out who they are. Introduce them to your upline and your upline's upline. If THEY haven't already done so!
Stick with them. Give them what they need and then get out of their way.
These are the folks you're in business for. They're why you have to get the sifting and sorting process down to a fine science. You can then sit back and look at what fell out of the sifting funnel you put all those prospects through. These winners.
You need to get yourself so tuned into these three types of folks that you can spot those who are sleeping and those who are waking up within a few seconds of talking to them or seeing them. After a short while they become so obvious and you then know exactly who you should be spending your precious time with.
You see, as you know this is a game about building yourself that big downline that everyone talks about. Since you're going to be a part-timer from the start like most folks you only have a limited amount of time to really work the biz. You don't have time to waste.
Sure, go ahead and get your feet wet learning the ropes. But after you're through that stage, you'll discover that if there's one thing that you don't want to be wasting - it's your time. And secondly your money.
Remember, the sleeping and the vast majority of the waking-up business parasites will suck you dry before you know it. That's why you have to be a smart sorter.
Keep looking for your 'diamonds in the rough.' Sort through all those insignificant grains of sand that aren't awake to the world. Do this until you find that pearl.
And when you find that pearl, believe me, you'll know it. You'll be thinking to yourself that this person's too good to be true.
You'll not only be listening to what they say but you'll also be seeing their actions match those words because they're wide awake. It'll be so exciting it'll almost be scary. But you'll know that you have a ringer that you need to focus all of your efforts on.
That is, until they tell you to get lost and just let them get to work. Stop cramping their style and move on to finding that next diamond.
And remember that old saying...
'You can't say the right thing to the wrong person. And you can't say the wrong thing to the right person.'
Get out there and find out who's right for this business and who's not. Find the folks who are awake like you are.
Remember, you didn't have to be sold on network marketing, did you? You knew a good thing when you saw it because YOU were wide awake. So, go out there and look for others like you. They're there. Your mission is to find them.
You deserve at least that much with your burgeoning MLM business.
I hope this insight was helpful with your business efforts.
Unlock The Powerful Secrets Of Online Social Networking
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Mark_A._Abrahams]Mark A. Abrahams
Social networking websites are growing in popularity over
the internet. One of the main reasons for this is that
since they already have a lot of popularity it is very easy
to tap into this traffic and market your products
effectively generating new business for your company. There
are many websites like Myspace and Friendster which work
very well.
However, my favourite social networking website is Ecademy.
In this article I would like to go through some ways that
you can use to make the most of this website.
1) Add a picture to your profile
One of the most overlooked factors of succeeding on a
social networking website is that you need to brand your
name and face. It is very important that people get to know
the real you and by having your picture you will add the
very important personal touch.
2) Build up friendships first
Do not aggressively seek doing business with people you are
not very familiar with. First build long lasting
friendships with people in your industry. Once you have
done this they will go out of their way to put you in touch
with people that will help you to be successful.
3) Contribute valuable content to the blog
By adding useful content you will build your credibility
and demonstrate that you are an expert in your niche
market. This is a really important step to getting new
business as people only buy from people that they like,
know and trust.
4) Optimize marketplace listings for search engines to advertise your website
Ecademy has a very good page rank and has over 400,000
links pointing to it. Consequently the search engines love
this. Find keywords that have very little competition and
create marketplace listings with a link to your website.
Are you really interested in driving massive traffic to your website?
MLM Training - Using "Dream Marketing" to Attract Network Marketing Leaders
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Mark_Hoverson]Mark Hoverson
MLM trainers promote a variety of methods to boost your network marketing business. Most methods cause well-meaning distributors to fumble around and dilly-dally aimlessly with no solid residual check. However, if you want to earn money like Ferrari, Disney, and Harley Davidson, why not implement their marketing strategies? It is possible, even probable, to zoom your check fast if you learn to market like the big boys. Here are four thoughts:
1- Your product or service is good. It is a bonus to understand the ingredients, and the customer service features of your company. However, it doesn't really get people's juices flowing. It's a lower level of marketing.
2- Imagine for a moment that I share a goal of mine with you: "I want to hike mountains in Montana with my grandchildren. I want them to see Grandpa [ME] joyfully urging them to launch up to the peek before sunset, so we can crack a cold drink and fry up the t-bone steaks I have in my backpack." This is an actual plan of mine (I'm 30 years old as I write this, by the way).
3- My goal requires (a) robust health, (b) a healthy retirement account, (c) deep connections with my current children (because it will really be up to them to trust me to take their kids up a mountain). This dream of mine already prompted me to (a) create a razor sharp focus on my current health, and search out the finest nutrition plan available, (b) think long-term about ramping up my income vehicles for today and tomorrow, (c) not be one of those dads who is constantly working, but rather find a career that provides me with ample lifestyle freedom to create regular, memorable moments with my four children and wife.
4- In short, a very powerful and vivid dream of mine has ultimately caused me to discover MLM. Did you catch that? My dream woke me up to MLM (this is the quintessential element in dream-marketing). Network Marketing companies usually have the finest nutritional supplements and travel memberships (which my dream caused me to search out). They also have the fastest and most rewarding compensation pay plans, which dwarf corporate pay structures (MLM is the fastest maker of millionaires). Plus, the residual income allows copious time-freedom (which has allowed over 20 weeks of vacation over the last 2 years for me. My kids already casually say at the dinner table, "When are we going on another vacation?"). Because of my dreams, network marketing has secured another lifetime advocate.
5- Thus, if you learn the secrets of how to awaken the sleeping dream muscles in others, they will inevitably see that network marketing provides a lifestyle potential that makes almost any other career pursuit very pale in terms of earning, time freedom, and relationships with some of the world's most cutting edge entrepreneurs.
The 7 Habits of Highly Horrible Networkers
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Scott_Ginsberg]Scott Ginsberg
Networking is a term that didn't exist (academically) until almost 40 years ago. It's a word uttered in and around the business world every day, yet is unclear to most as to how it actually works. Still, it's a fundamental tool to the success of any business.
By definition, the term networking is the development and maintenance of mutually valuable relationships. It's not schmoozing; it's not just handing out business cards, selling, marketing or small talk. Those activities are part of networking, but unfortunately, many people's misunderstanding of the term causes them network ineffectively.
The following are The 7 Habits of Highly Horrible Networkers™, and they can stand in the in your way of developing mutually valuable relationships. So, next time you attend your Chamber or Association meeting, keep these ideas in mind so you can offer the most value to your fellow networkers.
Habit #1: Attitude
Much like the development of any skill, networking begins with attitude. Unfortunately, Highly Horrible Networkers have the wrong attitude. If you've ever attended a networking function before, perhaps you've encountered businesspeople who act in the following ways:
The hard sell – they believe networking is about one thing and one thing only: selling products and services to everyone in the room.
Business only – they're not there to make friends. They're not there to have fun. And they're certainly not interested in developing mutually valuable relationships.
It's all about me – they don't take the time to help and share with others, but rather focus on their own needs. In other words, they can't spell “N-E-T-W-O-R-K-I-N-G” without “I.”
Attitude is fundamental to effective networking. In fact, it's the most important habit to understand.
Habit #2: Dig Your Well WHEN You're Thirsty
One of my favorite networking books is called Dig Your Well Before You're Thirsty, by Harvey McKay. It's probably the most well known text on this subject. The key to McKay's work is making your friends, establishing contacts and developing relationships – before you need them. Getting what you want by helping others get what they want first.
Enter the Highly Horrible Networkers, who only network because:
a) They need new customers
b) They have a new product or service to sell
c) Their boss forced them to do so
Take my friend Lawrence, for example. He's quite successful in the insurance business; however he recently approached me about using networking to obtain some hot leads.
“My numbers are down. My boss is on my back. I gotta get out there and start networking…or else! What do you suggest?”
“Networking takes time,” I explained, “and you can't expect to come into loads of business or dozens of potential clients without developing the relationships first.”
As you already learned, networking is the development and maintenance of mutually valuable relationships…over time. If you try to dig your well WHEN you're thirsty, you may never find a drink.
Habit #3: Dealin' the Deck
Habit #3 is a dangerous one, and it happens all the time. Have you ever seen people distribute 173 of their business cards during the first 5 minutes of the event? They move as quickly as possible from one person to the next. They don't make eye contact, they don't ask to exchange cards – they just deal them out.
“Here's my card, call me if you need a designer! See ya later.”
“But…I…never even got your name!” you muse.
This is guaranteed to make people feel puny and insignificant. Notice these Highly Horrible Networkers don't spend time actually meeting and establishing rapport with new people; but rather concentrate on giving out as many cards as possible. It's quantity over quality, right?
Wrong.
Dealin' the Deck is one of the most common networking pet peeves. Whenever I give my program The Habits of Highly Horrible Networkers™, I walk out into the audience for a quick demonstration of this habit. I grab a stack of business cards and quickly jump from table to table tossing out dozens of them without as much looking at the audience members I'm handing them to.
Unfortunately during one speech, it backfired.
Literally.
Last year, I was demonstrating Highly Horrible Habit #3 when speaking at a local business meeting. While hopping from table to table as dozens of cards flew through the air and into people's laps and salads, someone yelled out, “Oh my God!”
I stopped dead in my tracks. I looked back at the head table and noticed that one of my cards landed in the centerpiece…
…which was a candle!
MY BUSINESS CARD WAS ON FIRE!!
I threw down the microphone, lunged at the table and snatched the burning business card from the candle! As I toppled over the chair in front of me I yelled something to the effect of “Oh my God!” shook the flames off my half burnt card and regained my balance to a roaring applause/laughter from the audience.
“And…uh…this just goes to show you ladies and gentleman,” I fumbled, “When you deal the deck of business cards without eye contact or consideration…uh…people may as well set them on fire – because they're not going to read them anyway!”
Whew! Nice save, huh? Yeah well, that client did NOT invite me back the following year.
Habit #4: Unprofessional Information
It's remarkable how often some business cards will contain unprofessional information. Have you ever received someone's card with one of those ambiguous, offensive and questionable email addresses with AOL, Hotmail or Yahoo? Not only are those email servers frustrating and ineffective for business communication, but just imagine how it looks when someone has to send business emails to:
HotLips98@aol.com
KaylasMommyRules@yahoo.com
Isellcars2U@hotmail.com
I have nothing against AOL, Hotmail or Yahoo. But if possible, always send and receive emails using the address of your organization's website, i.e., scott@hellomynameisscott.com. If you must use free servers like MSN, SBC and the like, choose a simple username that doesn't question your professionalism, i.e., jackgateman@yahoo.com.
Habit #4: Sit with the Wrong Company
I'll never forget my first Chamber meeting. One afternoon I sat down with 6 other local businesspeople for our monthly networking lunch. Naturally, the first thing I did was look at everyone's nametags. (Not only to learn their names but to examine the effectiveness of their nametags' design and placement.)
But these were the nametags I saw: ADM Financial, ADM Financial, ADM Financial, ADM Financial, ADM Financial, ADM Financial, Scott. (Company name changed to protect the victims.)
Highly Horrible networkers not only attend meetings with their friends and/or coworkers, but they talk and sit with them the entire time! These are people with whom they've worked 5 days a week, 8 hours a day for the past 3 years! This is not a good technique to maximize your company's visibility.
This habit creates an elitist, unfriendly attitude. And think how uncomfortable this makes the one or two people sitting at the table who don't work for that company! It's unfair to them because they're unable to meet a diverse group of people with whom to develop mutually valuable relationships! Remember: If you're sitting with YOUR company – you're sitting with the WRONG company.
Habit #6: Small Talk is for Suckers
Highly Horrible Networkers forget about the small talk. It's a waste of their time. They don't ask or answer about “New and exciting things happening at work” or “How Thanksgiving was,” they simply jump right into (what they believe to be) the most important part of the discussion: selling 17 of their products before the salad arrives.
Has this ever happened to you? For example, has someone ever introduced themselves, breezed right through the conversation and flat out asked you for a referral?
Refer you? I don't even know you!
Reciprocating self-disclosure is the most effective way to build rapport and ultimately develop trust. The people you want to do business with are those with whom you have built that rapport and trust. So, small talk is not for suckers. Debra Fine, author of The Fine Art of Small Talk put it best when she said: “Small talk is the biggest talk we do.”
Habit #7: Limitations
Finally, Highly Horrible Networkers believe there is only one specific time and place for networking. It's called “A Room with A Sign Posted Outside That Says So.” In other words, they only network when someone forces them to. They don't believe networking opportunities in places like elevators, busses, supermarkets or parks.
That's it? A measly half hour for networking? Doesn't give you much time, does it?
The truth about networking is that it can happen anytime, anywhere. There is a time and a place for networking – it's called ANY time, and ANY place.
How to Recruit Endless Prospects Into Your Network Marketing Business
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Carl_Coffin]Carl Coffin
Recruiting prospects into your network marketing business is easier said than done for most network marketers. Most people who start their MLM business are told by their uplines to just share the plan. They are told to make a list of everyone they know and begin by calling everyone on their list and either inviting them out to a business overview or to a conference call with their sponsor. It doesn't take long before the new recruit is asking themselves what do I do when I run out of people to talk to on my list? This is the point where most sponsors will tell them to make sure to ask their list for referrals or to get creative and talk to anybody and everybody within 3 ft. of them.
After doing this for a while and facing massive rejection most quit, however a few will persevere. The patient network marketer reluctantly turns to buying into lead programs and cold calling massive amounts of people all in the hopes of "sharing the plan" with opportunity seekers. The major problem they have now is they just turned into another telemarketer and have destroyed the duplication factor in their business. You see, they might learn to get good at cold calling but it is almost impossible to duplicate this skill in their organization. You have to give them credit for making it this far in their business though. By now they have persevered, faced massive rejection, and have grown mentally tough.
They have worked hard for months but they still don't see any success in their downlines or in their bank accounts. They look around at their core leaders who are 'supposedly' having all this success and they ask themselves what is it that they are doing differently than me? The missing ingredient for recruiting endless prospects online or offline are two major components. The first thing that all core leaders have is PROFESSIONALISM, next is a LEAD GENERATION SYSTEM.
All successful leaders display professionalism in their business. They know their company and products inside and out. They have a servant's heart and know how to talk to people. They also know how to MOTIVATE people to take action. Because of this people are attracted to them and join their team. Keep this in mind. People join professionals in this business. You have to spend the majority of your time early on in your business working on yourself. You can't shortcut this, it is a must!!
Next, all successful leaders have a lead generation system. They don't waste time talking to uninterested people. Their time is valuable and they know this. They see themselves as a valuable professional whereby people have to earn their time.
They know how to use technologies like the Internet, social networking, video marketing, article marketing, website marketing, etc. to attract endless amount of interested prospects to them. They also know how to enhance their business by creating multiple streams of income. So in closing, the key is to develop your own professionalism and create value in the lives of your prospects and customers.
Next, learn how to generate your own leads more effectively using technology. This will save you time and will create a state of lead abundance. I sincerely hope this article has been helpful to you. List Building Secrets - How to Add 100 Subscribers Per Day
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Matthew_Lord]Matthew Lord
You probably know by now that list building is essential to most any reliable online business model. The reason list building is so important is because it allows you to have customers that you can market to over and over again, which can result in a lot of sales with little effort. To build a huge list fast you need to get 100 subscribers per day, but how can you can do this?
There are list building secrets that can help you accomplish your goals, and here they are.
1. Take advantage of social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook, and twitter. The key is to join groups that could potentially be interested in your niche, and become part of the community. Do not just simply spam people, but find out who is interested in what you have to offer and market to them.
2. Article marketing is a great way to build a big list fast. This method is not really a secret, but it amazes me how many people do not take advantage of this method. If you want to get 100 subscribers per day this is a good way to start.
3. eBay classified ads are great for list building purposes. One single classified ad can easily bring you many targeted visitors, so why not try to build a list in this manner? You know that you are getting targeted traffic, and even better than that these people are searching eBay which means they are in a buying mood when they sign up for your newsletter.
The Networkers Club Blog - Article Intro to Jeff Mitchell
Some wise guys are already claiming that The Networkers Club is a scam.
Here's the truth.
The Networkers Club is a lead generation system, a funded proposal system,
and an MLM feeder system - all of those in one. Those are the facts.
If someone says that it's something other than what is stated above,
then it may appear to be a scam. Please note the key words - appear to be.
To some yokels network marketing is pyramid scheme, but the people who
make such negative claims don't even know the difference between a pyramid
and an isosceles triangle! Join The Networkers Club and use it to build
more than one business.
In the following article, the positive thinking Jeff Mitchell tells
you how to use Google adwords to create a funded proposal. Maybe
some individuals think that that is a scam! Tell it to Google! Use the
available tools, tips, methods, and systems for your benefit -
then you will almost be scam proof. Also, always keep in mind -
How to Implement a Funded Proposal
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jeff_Mitchell]Jeff Mitchell
If you are serious about building a network marketing or MLM business then the funded proposal is the most important technique to ever implement, and when utilized the correct way will drastically allow you to grow your business to no end. With a funded proposal you are getting a steady profit stream of upfront income.
The funded proposal concept is system that allows a marketer to sell a generic retail product at the front end of a marketing campaign to offset the cost of driving traffic to the back end of their marketing campaign. Here is a simple outline of the basic concept for a funded proposal.
- You place an ad using good AdWords costing you x cents or dollars per click
- Your new prospect clicks on your ad and is guided to your capture page
- Your new prospect becomes a lead.(He or she opts in to your Newsletter...etc.)
- Now that your new lead is inside your marketing campaign. (through your auto responder) you can market him the generic information product)
- The new lead buys your information product which will now educate him about your industry.
- As your campaign gets deeper (as you funnel them through your campaign) the information products become more expensive.
- As your prospects buy up the information products, you can easily find out who the potential business partners are. (The one who continually educate themselves.)
- The income that is brought in through the funded proposal is put back into the advertising process.
- This process repeats itself over and over and now you are generating massive amounts of free targeted leads for your business.
As you see the power of the funded proposal is endless. One of the most staggering problems network marketers have is either running out of money or running out of leads. This system solves both of the problems and if positioned correctly in your campaign can be quite profitable.
These are the tools that real network marketers must utilize to grow their business to levels of financial freedom. The reason that ninety-five percent of this industry fails is due to the fact that most people new to this industry do not have a real mentor to show them tools like the funded proposal and cutting edge web 2.0 technology to explode their marketing business.
The Networkers Club Blog Article Intro, 6 March 2009
Generating leads for an MLM Network Marketing business can be done in
such a way that it is self funding. This cost effective method is
already being done through so called funded proposals. A lead obtained
through a funded proposal is motivated enough to spend a small amount
of money to get information about your opportunity. As you can
imagine, this type of business lead is more serious than your basic
tire kicker, that is, someone doing a more casual search. The
Networkers Club is a superlative example of a lead generation company
that serves to screen out less interested business seekers. For a
small amount of money up front, the opportunity seeker finds out if your
business is right for them. And, your lead generation activities are
paid for. A great win-win scenario! Donovan Baldwin's article that
follows explains in more detail.
P.S. These funded proposal lead generation systems are sometimes
referred to as MLM feeder systems.
Generating Your Own MLM Network Marketing Leads
Generating Your Own MLM Network Marketing Leads
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Donovan_Baldwin]Donovan Baldwin
One of the most effective means of growing an MLM network marketing business is through the use of leads. Although most people new to this area will buy leads, which may be effective if properly exploited, a more effective means is to do your own lead generation which acts as a feeder for an MLM sponsoring system of some type.
No MLM lead or lead generation system is perfect. Any lead you get by any means will have to be contacted, and, by some means, be led into your particular MLM sponsoring system. However, when worked properly and regularly, this is the best way to grow your MLM network marketing business. In fact, the techniques used in lead generation will work just as well for generating sales leads, leads for charitable institutions, or even leads for a storefront business.
One of the first things to remember is that "Do Not Call" lists and email spam restrictions apply to you. Before contacting someone by phone or email, make sure you have secured their phone number and/or email address in such a way that they cannot make a complaint about you. The other side of this is that once you make contact, if they ask to be removed from your list, do so immediately and make no further effort to contact them.
No matter how you generate your leads, be prepared for the thing every marketer must face on a regular basis...rejection. No matter who it is or the reason they give, if you know you have played by the rules and done everything as right as you could, do not take it personally. Even IF for some reason you ARE at fault in your mind, accept it as part of the business and as a character-building learning experience and move on.
People you contact as a result of your lead generation system may have many reasons for "rejecting" your proposal. They may already be in another business and not want to add to their burdens, they may be having family problems, they may be ill, they may be afraid...the list can go on forever.
One very successful MLM marketer used to begin any new contact with questions designed to weed out "tire kickers" or those with unrealistic expectations. As he pointed out, there are enough people who are willing to learn and do the work, and he simply chose to find those and work with them.
Here's a scary thought if you choose to buy leads.
One study a while back checked a large number of purchased leads against the "Do Not Call" list. Well over half the people listed as being interested in receiving information by phone were on that list! While there are some very reputable companies around, the best leads are going to be the ones you generate yourself. Therefore, having your own lead generation methods can provide you with a steady stream of interested parties that YOU KNOW have given their email address or phone number, and you have their own online entries to back up your claims.
Leads you generate yourself will be fresher, giving you an opportunity to get to the person first with your opportunity or product.
Leads you generate yourself will be less expensive. A single purchased lead may cost several dollars and may have been sold to other people, while you can generate your own for pennies and in some cases for free.
Leads you generate yourself will be more responsive, particularly if you have identified the response with your business. However, even if the lead is gathered through some generic means, they will still be more responsive to YOU because...
Leads you generate yourself will be more personal. Obviously, if the first contact is between you and your potential lead, you will be perceived as...
WAIT A MINUTE! IT SOUNDS LIKE I HAVE TO HAVE A LEAD TO GENERATE A LEAD!
Well, that's sort of the idea!
Look at it like this. If you attempt to generate a lead by saying to a stranger, "Hey, come over here and look at my product (or opportunity)", odds are they are going to look at you like you're crazy and get away as quickly as possible. However, if you say to that stranger, "Hello! Here's a gift for you. Have a nice day!" they are more likely to be responsive to further contact. At some point after you have made the initial contact and positioned yourself as someone who can be trusted and believed, then you can transfer the initial lead into your MLM sponsoring system.
Obviously, lead generation is not that simple, but there IS a relatively simple, effective, and less expensive means of MLM lead generation than buying strangers' names from other strangers.
A SIMPLE MODEL OF A LEAD GENERATION SYSTEM.
1. Go to an autoresponder service such as http://getresponse.com and sign up. While I recommend paying for their pro level service, the free service can work, but messages will carry their advertising in addition to your messages.
2. Put together an information product of value related to your product, service, or business opportunity. This can be a single report, but a series of reports to be delivered over several days or even weeks would be better. It is known in advertising that many people will not react to a message (advertisement) until they have seen it several times. Additionally, people who have just signed up for your mailings will still not know you, but, after they have received several valuable messages from you, they will begin to trust you and be more receptive to suggestions you make and advice you give.
If you do not know how to put together articles or information packages, don't worry. You can send articles that you can get for free from sites such as http://ezinearticles.com , or you can have articles written for you at sites such as http://www.justarticles.com/ . You can also buy niche content packages from providers such as Stef over at http://www.niche-content-packages.com/ .
3. Load your message(s) into your autoresponder. GetResponse.com will help you build the code for a capture form. If you are generating your leads online, you will have to place the lead capture form on a webpage. After that, your job will be to get people to go to the webpage where they will be asked to sign up for the information package or newsletter by filling in their name, email address, and telephone number. You can see an example of a lead capture page at http://free-mlm-leads.ws .
If you are promoting off line, you can just use the autoresponder email address on a business card, flyer, post card, or similar marketing message. People who send a message to that email will get the information you have set up in the autoresponder.
4. As your relationship progresses with your email list, offer your product or business opportunity as a solution to their problems. For example, if you sell domains and website hosting and you are telling people how to get an internet business started, they will be told that they will need to buy, register, and host a domain name. You can suggest your company as one they might consider. If your company is an MLM network marketing company, since they are trying to find information about starting an internet business, you can offer your company as an honest business opportunity.
5. Keep in touch. If you find additional information or services of value to those on your email list, let them know.
Always remember that you want to treat your MLM leads with respect. In fact, try not to think of them as "leads". They are people, and once upon a time we were "leads" to someone else. You want these people to become friends and team partners. Do to them as you would wish to be done to, and they can reward your efforts handsomely.
